Halo IR Sauna FAQ
What to Expect
Be sure to hydrate prior to and after session (bottled water is available for purchase). Clothing is required for your session, and loose garments are suggested. There is a bluetooth connection available for music. Your shoes will need to be removed prior to entering the HaloIR. Also note that no drink, food, or electronics/phones allowed inside the unit.
Some may question the safety of infrared sauna therapy due to infrared light’s ability to penetrate beneath the skin layer. No serious adverse side effects have been reported in the use of the therapy, but the sauna is not recommended for young children and elderly adults who are prone to heat exhaustion and dehydration, nor is it recommended for those taking medications that impair their ability to sweat. Of course, be sure to talk to your doctor about any health conditions you may have before trying out infrared sauna therapy. Before and after using the HaloIR sauna be sure to stay well hydrated with plenty of water.
How Often Should I Use the Sauna?
Infrared saunas are safe to use every day. On average, most people partake in 30-45 minute sessions, 3-4 times a week.
Most of the research that has been conducted has shown that the sauna is most beneficial when used at least 3 times per week.
