PLUM NATURAL WELLNESS' STORY
In 1979, Steve and Carol Neely opened the county's first health food store on Main Street, Forest City that was called Gracious Goodness. They later moved, twice, to larger locations off of Oak St Ext where the store still is. The store's name was changed to Earth Fare and then later Plum Natural Market. Steve and Carol owned the store for 40 years. In May 2019, their store manager, Heather Collins, purchased the store from them and renamed it Plum Natural Wellness. We have been and continue to be a local family-owned business.
